Privacy Policy
Effective October 12, 2026
Heart Be True (heartbetrue.com) is a two-person empathy project operated by Noel Wiggins. This policy explains what the service collects and how it is used.
What we collect
- Account details: your first name, email address and time zone. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and a Google account identifier — nothing else from your Google account.
- What you enter: daily check-ins, mood and feelings, practice logs, weekly assessments, moments you log, notes and reflections.
- Technical data: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) kept for security and troubleshooting.
How it is used
- To run the service: calculate your scores and show them to you.
- To share with your partner exactly what the app describes — weekly aggregates of what you report about them, and notes you choose to share. Your practice log, reflections and moment notes are private to you.
- To send account emails: invitations, password resets and security notices. No marketing emails.
We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your entries to train AI models.
Who processes it
- Railway — hosting and database (United States).
- Resend — sending account emails.
- Google — only if you choose Google sign-in.
- Cloudflare — domain name service.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. To delete your account and all your entries, email the address below from your account email; it will be removed within 30 days. Deleting your account also removes what you reported about your partner from their results.
Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Password-reset links are single-use and expire after one hour.
Children
The service is for adults 18 and over.
Changes and contact
